For over 60 years
PECO has been machining turned and milled
parts for products as diverse as gas meters, yachting
equipment, electrical accessories, fuel valves and analytical
equipment.
Materials employed range from
stainless steel (316, 303, 304, 416, 420), aluminium (6082,
2011, 6262, 6063, 2014), steel (220M07, 070M20, 080M40,
080M15, 605M36, 817M40), all brasses as well as copper, bronze
and plastics.
Our comprehensive range of CNC
Turning Centres (including CNC Sliding Head), CNC Machining
Centres, Cam operated automatic lathes, combined with
extensive 2nd operation facilities enable us to calculate the
most cost effective solution to our customers demands. Also,
all our CNC machines are linked to a DNC system for fast
processing and instant program retrieval to keep setting times
to a minimum.
We understand that in today’s “just
in time” world it is vital that all enquiries and orders must
be rapidly responded to. We fully realise the responsibility
of being in a supply chain and the consequences of late
delivery. We currently operate kan ban, consignment and JIT
systems for existing customers.

Software (specifically installed to aid
rapid response) calculates and stores all machining
operations, so that new enquiries can be priced efficiently
and existing jobs can be recalled to screen instantly,
enabling us to give up to date prices within minutes.
In 2007, PECO became part of the Intake Engineering group and moved to Wingham.
